Who Needs Fostering? Arya, Aesha and Aftab’s Story

Learn more about Arya, Aesha, who are sisters and their brother Aftab, who would like to move into a long-term home together.

Arya, Aesha and Aftab are sisters and their brother, originally from Keighley, do not currently live together. The children need to live together in a long-term foster family anywhere in the Bradford district as long as they are together.

The children were taken into care 9 months ago and would like to live together in a fostering family that respects their Muslim faith and encourages them to pursue their individual talents until they reach adulthood.

Arya, aged 9, is in Year 5. She enjoys playing football for her local girls’ team and dreams about playing for England Lionesses one day.

Like her sister, Aesha, aged 7, has big plans for her future. Ever since visiting the pantomime at the Alhambra Theatre last year, Aesha has wanted to sing and dance and desperately wants to join a drama club.

Aftab, aged 6, would much rather read a book though he likes to sing too! His favourite book is The Owl Who Was Afraid of The Dark. His favourite class is unsurprisingly Reading - but Art is a close second!
